It is a great pleasure to inform that we are providing special education with free of cost in Hearing Impairment to the children with special needs through Navajeevan special school for the deaf.
We are happy to have this privilege to provide the educational needs of these special children from classes 1 to 10 with the strength of 169 and 32 well qualified teaching and non-teaching staff.
All the required facilities are provided, Group Hearing, Loop Induction and FM Systems and Audiology department for improving their speech abilities are made available. So far 398 children successfully passed out of the school by obtaining 100% good results at the SSC state level public examinations. During the public examination this year 2023 – 2024, 17 children completed and wrote their exams successfully. Children are felt as happy because they had a privilege to write their public exams this year.
The school has good reputation with free residential facilities such as spacious hostel buildings separately both for boys and girls well equipped dining hall and kitchen with steam cooking, good number of toilets and bathing and washing facilities and R.O system for safe drinking water, a storage of overhead tank with 40000 Litters and also solar system for cocking. The classrooms are quite spacious and well ventilated, with well equipped labs of science, Ear mould and computers, Library, art room for vocational training and sufficient play ground and play equipment for physical education. By providing all the needed facilities for the all-round growth of the hearing impaired children the Navajeevan School is imparting quality, academic education along with training the children in physical, Cultural, health, moral, spiritual and environmental education. The staff members work with team spirit in harmony, mutual cooperation, support and joyful availability to the children’s needs and counselling the parents.
